E-Learning Projects for Our Clients
Business Information Solutions
Our clients include:
| Microsoft Corporation | We have been with Microsoft’s various training groups since Microsoft University, where we produced developer training on the “new” Windows 2.0 platform, which help win the desktop war. We continue today creating innovative e-learning architecture, solutions, and tools on the latest technologies such as Office SharePoint Services (released in 2007). |
| Bellevue Community College | BCC, despite being a community college, is the second largest learning institution in Washington. BCC’s mission is very practical—learn to earn! BCC’s Dean of Continuing Education got together with BWI to cook up a distance learning architecture based on intelligent tutoring to migrate important classroom courses to the Web. |
| Sagem-Morpho | When the world’s largest forensic biometrics company wanted to establish a presence in the civil / commercial biometrics market, they turned to their former CEO and Chief Technology Officer, François Paul Briand—who had previously presided over their successful migration from mainframes to PC’s. François’ new company BWI designed and built the first civil / commercial fingerprint recognition application based on SM’s forensic technology. Further, BWI designed an engineering knowledge management system to lower manufacturing costs and reduce documentation. |
| AT&T Wireless | Changing the corporate training culture from instructor-led to online, on-demand was described as a hopeless cause. BWI developed an online management training instrument that turned it all around in a matter of a month. From upper-level executives all the way down to junior managers, the adoption rate of BWI’s online course was 100% enthusiasm. |
| Major Publishers | BWI has helped major publishers establish an online presence. BWI had already established its credibility with publishers such as Microsoft Press, Prentice-Hall Interactive, A Press, and International Data Group Books Worldwide, by writing technical books, instructor manuals, and field guides, when they were approached to license the SmartLabs® Intelligent Tutoring System as a companion product to developer kits and MCSE Certification Manuals. BWI produced online, tutored versions of technical books, simulations that allowed learners without access to a network to practice network operations, and learning tools to augments retail technical books. |
